Police Blotter: Theft from Motor Vehicle, Vandalism and Battery

The following crimes were reported for the week of Nov. 22 and Dec. 2

BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE  

Between 11 p.m. Nov. 22 and 7 a.m. Nov. 23 at the 1600 block of Sunset Boulevard, the suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle and took a computer, iPad, and satellite radio. 

Between 2 p.m. Nov. 28 and 11:15 a.m. Nov. 29 the 700 block Via De la Paz, the suspect entered victim's vehicle and took a computer and a jacket.

Between 7 a.m.  and 10 a.m. Dec. 1, the suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon and took money, a laptop computer, and camera.

Between 5 p.m. Nov. 30 and 6:05 a.m. Dec. 1, the suspect entered victim's vehicle at the 1000 block of Galloway and took money, purse, and phone.

Between 4:30 p.m. Dec. 1 and 7:30 a.m. Dec. 2, he suspect entered victim's vehicle at the 1100 block of Fiske and took sunglasses.

GRAND THEFT 

At 11 a.m. Nov. 29, the suspect entered victim's garage on the 900 block Bienveneda and took a bicycle.

PETTY THEFT

Between 9 a.m. Nov. 20 and 6 p.m. Nov. 24, the suspect took victim's baseball equipment from a carport on the 800 block of Las Lomas

At 9:12 a.m. Nov. 27, the suspect (identified) took property from victim's business located on the 15400 block of Sunset Boulevard without paying.

At 6 p.m. Nov. 27, a 49-year-old man was arrested for theft after shoplifting in victim's business located on the 15400 block of Sunset Boulevard.

VANDALISM

Between 11 a.m. Nov. 23 and 6:30 a.m. Nov. 24, the suspect threw an unknown object at victim's vehicle on the 300 block of Grenola causing damage.

BATTERY

At 8:15 p.m. on Nov.  26, the suspect, a 50 to 60-year-old, 6-foot tall, 165-pound white man  with white hair, brown eyes, with a white beard) pushed several juveniles he believed had spit on his wife at the 800 block of Via De La Paz.
