Police Blotter: Criminals Hard at Work to Separate You From Your Property

Here is a list of reported crimes in your neighborhood.

Burglary:
on March 7 at 10:20 p.m. on the 300-block of Mesa Road a suspect shattered a resident's window but didn't enter because the resident was home.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle:
A convertible owner returned to their car to find the canvas top unzipped and their cell phone, wallet and backpack stolen at Sunset Boulevard and PCH on March 5 between 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m.

The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took an iPad,
suitcase, and backpack between 9 p.m. on Feb. 27 and 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 28.

The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took money on the 200-block of Mabery Road between 10 p.m. on Feb. 4 and 6 a.m. on March 5.

The suspect took the front and rear license plates from victim’s vehicle on the 800-block of Haverford Avenue between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. on March 5.

Stolen Vehicles:
The suspect stole the victim’s vehicle from the 15900-block of Northfield Street 11:20 a.m. and 11:25 a.m. on March 10.

Vandalism:
The suspect used a blue pen to graffiti the walls of victim’s business on the 800-block of Via De La Paz at 8 a.m. on March 8.

The suspect damaged the door, window and door latch on a lifeguard tower on the 15100-block of PCH between 6:30 p.m. on March 10 and 7 a.m. on March 11.

Arrest/Citation:
A 47-year-old female was arrested for petty theft after shoplifting at a business on the 15400-block of Sunset Boulevard at 4:30 p.m. on March 7.
