Police Blotter: Burglary, Grand Theft and Petty Theft

The following crimes were reported for the week of Dec. 21 through Dec. 28

BURGLARY/THEFT from MOTOR VEHICLE  

Between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Dec. 26, the suspect smashed a window on victim's vehicle at the corner of Chautauqua Boulevard Corona Del Mar and took a shirt and boots.

Between 4:30 a.m. and 4:45 a.m. Dec. 22, the suspects (two white men around 20 years of age, between 5 feet 8 inches and 5 feet 10 inches, weighing 150 to 160 pounds) entered a small room attached to the side of victim's home at the 300 block of Amalfi and attempted to take victim's property but fled when confronted by victim.

GRAND THEFT

Between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 24, the suspect took victim's bicycle from a bicycle rack at the 15900 block of Pacific Coast Highway, leaving the front tire which was locked to the rack.

PETTY THEFT

Between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Dec. 23, The suspect took victim's property that had been delivered to victim's front porch at the 16500 block of Via Floresta,.

At 7:40 p.m. Dec. 14, the suspect (identified) took property from victim's business at the 1000 block of Swarthmore Avenue.
