Police Blotter: Burglary, Grand Theft and DUI
The following crimes were reported for the week of Dec. 29 to Jan. 4
BURGLARY
Between 8 a.m. Dec. 29 and 6:15 p.m. Jan. 2, the suspect smashed a window to enter victim's home at the 1400 block of Chastain Parkway and took jewelry.
Between 2:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Dec. 30, the suspect entered victim's home at the 16700 block of Edgar Street and took jewelry.

Between at 8 a.m. Dec. 24 and 10 p.m. Dec. 26, the suspect forced open a door to enter victim's home t at the 100 block of West Channel and took jewelry.
GRAND THEFT

Between 3:15 p.m. Jan. 3 and 6 a.m. Jan. 6, the suspect entered the front yard of a construction site at the 1300 block of Goucher Street and took a dirt compactor.
VANDALISM
Between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Jan. 4, the suspect scratched the paint on victim's vehicle in the 300 block of N. Grenola Street.
DUI
At 1:55 a.m. on Jan. 5, A 51-year-old man was arrested for DUI after being stopped at the Temescal Canyon/Sunset intersection for an investigation.
