Police Arrest Burglary Suspect Near Singer's House

A man suspected of burglary was taken into custody near Rihanna's Pacific Palisades home.

A burglary suspect arrested near pop singer Rihanna's Pacific Palisades home remained in custody Friday.

Police arrested the man after being called around 9 p.m. Thursday to the 900 block of Rivas Canyon Road, where the performer has a home, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's West Los Angeles Station.

LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman of Media Relations said the man told officers that he was looking for Rihanna's home, which was not the residence he was suspected of attempting to burglarize.
