Police Activity Causes Heavy Traffic at Sunset and PCH
Authorities are asking that you avoid the area.

UPDATE at 7:37 p.m.: That suspicious package found near the Getty Villa in the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades turned out to be no threat and the area was cleared around 4:30 p.m., according to an officer at the Los Angeles Police Department's West LA Station. The original call came in around 2:45 p.m.
Los Angeles Police just put out the following alert:
Police activity in the area of PCH and Sunset Blvd. Please try to avoid the area. Expect heavy traffic.
City News Service is reporting that police are investigating a suspicious package.
