The Red Cross has a "Safe and Well" site to gave those at the Boston Marathon a way to let their friends and family know they are safe and for their loved ones to post the names of people they are looking for. The site is busy and it may take a couple of tries to link to it.

Google has set up a similiar service, Person Finder, specifically for the Boston Marathon. Readers can posting the names of those they are looking for or information about someone.
