Palisades Police Blotter: Suspect ID'd in Stabbing Near Beach Restrooms

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Person stabbed while sleeping near beach restrooms

On Jan. 25 at 1 a.m. in the 15100 block of Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect stabbed a person in the back while they were sleeping behind the beach restrooms. Los Angeles police describe the suspect as a black man with black hair, 5'10'' and between 170 and 200 pounds.

On Jan. 24 between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the 13100 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect smashed glass on a door to enter a home and took money and jewelry.

Vehicle burglaries

  • Between Jan. 20 at 7 p.m. and Jan. 21 at 8 a.m. in the 15300 block of Albright Street, a suspect smashed the window to a vehicle and took a wallet, purse, money and credit cards.
  • Between Jan. 20 at 4 p.m. and Jan. 21 at 8:20 a.m. in the 15300 block of Albright Street, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took eye glasses and a watch.
  • Between Jan. 24 at 11 p.m. and Jan. 25 at 6 a.m. in the 300 block of East Rustic Road, a suspect cut open the soft top to a vehicle and took a camera.

BB gun suspected in window smashing

On Jan. 20 at 9:30 p.m. in the 700 block of Ocampo Drive, a suspect smashed the window to a home possibly using a BB gun.

Stolen bikes, money

  • Between Jan. 1 at 8 p.m. and Jan. 25 at 11 p.m. in the 200 block of Ocean Avenue, suspect(s) took two bicycles from a garage.
  • Between Jan. 24 at 11 p.m. and Jan. 25 at 6 a.m. in the 300 block of East Rustic Road, a suspect took a bicycle from an open garage.
  • Between Jan. 12 at 12 p.m. and Jan. 24 at 2:30 p.m. in the Vista Terrace, a suspect (possibly a former employee) took money from a home.
