Pali Police Blotter: Suspect Sought in Drive-by Airsoft Gun Shooting

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Teen shoots woman above left eye with airsoft gun, flees

At 10:50 p.m. July 16 in the 15200 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect shot a woman with an airsoft gun, striking her just above the left eye. Los Angeles police describe the suspect as a white man between 18 and 20 years old, driving a grey Jeep.

At 8:10 p.m. July 17 in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect, who has been identified by police, threatened to kill someone.

Home burglaries

  • Between 4:15 p.m. July 15 and 7 a.m. July 16 in the 600 block of Amalfi Drive, a suspect entered a home under construction and took construction tools.
  • Between 12 and 7 a.m. July 18 in the 15100 block of Bestor Boulevard, a suspect entered the garage of a home and took a bicycle, iPod and oil paintings.
  • Between 3 p.m. July 17 and 7 a.m. July 18 in 1300 block of Longworth Drive, a suspect entered a home under construction and took tools.
Burglaries from vehicles
  • Between 10: 30 a.m. and 12 p.m. July 14 in the 400 block of Entrada Drive, a suspect smashed the window of a vehicle and took a purse, wallet and iPad.
  • Between 10 and 11:15 a.m. July 14 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Los Liones Drive, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a purse, wallet and money.
  • Between 9:15 and 9:25 a.m. July 16 in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a laptop computer and wetsuits.
  • Between 5:30 p.m. July 12 and 11:30 p.m. July 21 in the 15000 block of Bestor Boulevard, a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and took a laptop computer.
Thefts
  • Between 9:15 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. July 14 in the 16700 block of Bollinger Avenue, a suspect entered a home and took a laptop computer.
  • At 10:20 a.m. July 17 in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect, who's been identified by police, entered a business and took a bottle of vodka.
Smashed car windows
  • Between 2 p.m. July 13 and 10 a.m. July 14 at the intersection of Via de la Paz and Bowdoin Street, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle.
  • Between 12 and 6:20 p.m. July 21 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Los Liones Drive, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle.
