Pali Police Blotter: Meth Possession, DUI

2 charged with possession of methamphetamine

A 50-year-old man and a 44-year-old man were arrested at 5:50 p.m. June 26 in the 14800 block of Sunset Boulevard. Both were charged with possession of methamphetamine following a narcotics investigation, according to Los Angeles police.

DUI

A 40-year-old man was arrested at 11:25 p.m. June 28 at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Sunset Boulevard. He was charged with driving under the influence after being involved in a traffic collision.

Suspect ID'd in petty theft

At 8:05 p.m. June 28 in the 14800 block of Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect entered a business, placed the victim's property in a bag and fled the area in a gray Chevy van. Police describe the suspect as a white man with black hair, brown eyes, 5'9'' and 200 pounds and between 23 and 24 years old.

Business burglary

Between 3:45 and 5:30 p.m. June 24 in the 600 block of Palmera Drive, a suspect entered a business through an unlocked door and took a wallet, money and credit cards. 

Burglaries from vehicles

  • Between 7 and 9 p.m. June 24 in the 15700 block of Bowdoin Street, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took an iPod, backpack, clothing and a phone charger.
  • Between 7:15 and 9:30 p.m. June 29 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a cell phone, iPod and money.
Theft while waiting in the coffee line

Between 10 and 10:45 a.m. June 19 in the 15300 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect took a wallet from a purse while the victim was in line at the coffee shop.
