Pali Police Blotter: Men Arrested for Felony Battery, Shoplifting

Felony battery arrest

A 42-year-old man was arrested at 7:25 p.m. June 13 in the 800 block of Muskingum Avenue. He was charged with felony battery after causing multiple injuries to the victim, according to Los Angeles police.

Man arrested for shoplifting

A 42-year-old man was arrested at 12:15 p.m. June 15 in the 17300 block of Sunset Boulevard. He was charged with theft after shoplifting food and beverages from a business. 

Suspects ID'd in distraction burglary

Between 11 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. June 11 in the 200 block of Tranquillo Drive, suspects entered a home under the auspices to use a restroom and took money and a credit card while another suspect repaired damage on the victim's vehicle. Police identified the suspects who entered the house as a white woman with brown hair, 5'8'' and 110 pounds and approximately 30 years of age, and a white girl approximately 8 years of age.

Suspect, possibly housekeeper, steals jewelry

Between 3 p.m. on Nov. 11, 2012 and 3 p.m. June 6, 2013 in the 17100 block of Anenida de Santa Ynez a suspect, possibly the housekeeper, took jewelry from one of the bedrooms in the house.

Suspect floods garage of home

Between 10 p.mJune 6 and 7 a.m. June 7 in the 1800 block of Palisades Drive, a suspect flooded the garage of a home with water, causing damage to some carpeting. 

Vehicle burglaries

  • Between 6 p.m. June 13 and 9 a.m. June 14 in the 16600 block of Marquez Avenue, a suspect smashed the window on a vehicle and took school books, a blood pressure cuff and clothing.
  • Between 11:20 a.m. and 12:45 p.m. June 15 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard, a suspect entered the trunk of a vehicle and took a purse, wallet and money.
  • Between 5 and 6:30 p.m. June 14 in 1200 block of Capri Drive, a suspect entered a vehicle and took money, credit cards and checks.
Suspect smashes vehicles at Temescal/PCH in the same day and time frame
  • Between 7 and 9 p.m. June 14 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect smashed a window to a vehicle and took a money and an iPod.
  • Between 7 and 9 p.m. June 14 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took money and textbooks.
  • Between 7 and 9:20 p.m. June 14 at the intersection of Temescal Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a backpack and clothing.
Home burglary

Between 8 p.m. June 13 and 9 a.m. June 14 in the 20 block of Latimer Road, a suspect smashed a window to enter a home but it's unknown if any property was taken, according to LAPD.
