Pali Police Blotter: Man Strikes Moving Vehicle, Stolen Lotto Tickets

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Vandalism

At 9:15 p.m. Aug 6. at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road, a suspect struck the fender of a moving vehicle. The suspect's described as a white man with no further description, according to Los Angeles police.

Stolen Lottery tickets

At 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 15200 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect took lottery tickets from a local business. Police describe the suspect as a white man in his 40s, driving a four-door BMW.

Stolen cell phone

Between 12 and 1 p.m. July 31 in the 900 block of Monument Street, a suspect took a cell phone from a doctor's office. Police describe the suspect as a man, no further description.

Stolen laptop while victim swimming

Between 11:20 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 15700 block of Bowdoin Street, a suspect took a laptop computer from a locker while the victim was swimming in the pool.

Home and vehicle burglaries

  • Between 2 and 2:40 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 15000 block of McKendree Avenue, a suspect entered a home and took jewelry.
  • Between 12:10 and 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8 at the intersection of Corona del Mar and Chautauqua Boulevard, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a passport, camera and tablet.
  • Between 1:30 and 5:30 p.m. Aug. 6 at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Los Liones Drive, a suspect smashed a window on a vehicle and took a purse and gym bag.
