Pali Police Blotter: 3 Car Burglaries, Including 'Punched' Trunk Lock

The following reports were supplied by the West Los Angeles Division of the LAPD.

Grand theft auto

On July 9 between 7:20 and 7:50 a.m. at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Temescal Canyon Road, the suspect took the vehicle from the shoulder of the roadway, according to the .

Burglary/theft from motor vehicle

  • Between July 9 at 7 p.m. and July 10 at 7 a.m. in the 200 block of Aderno Way, the suspect reportedly "punched" the lock on the trunk of the victim's vehicle and took a computer, iPad, tote bag and books.
  • Between July 10 at 8 p.m. and July 11 at 7 a.m. in the 15000 block of Antioch Street, the suspect entered the victim's vehicles and took a computer, iPad, keys and garage door opener.
  • Between July 12 at 12 to 10 a.m. in the 16000 block of Sunset Boulevard, the suspect allegedly pried open the hatchback of the victim's vehicle and took a computer, iPod and sunglasses.

Burglary

On July 6 at approximately 1:26 a.m. in the 1400 block of Chautauqua Boulevard, the suspect attempted to pry open several doors and windows of the victim's home but was unable to gain entry.

Vandalism

  • Between June 28 at 7 a.m. and July 7 at 11 p.m. in the 1300 block of Goucher Street, the suspect reportedly damaged a window to the victim's home with a BB gun.
  • On July 13 at approximately 1:30 a.m., four suspects between the ages of 20 and 40 damaged the victim's mail box by kicking it several times.
  • On July 9 between 8 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the 200 block of Entrada Drive, the suspect damaged the victim's call box by pulling it off the wall of the victim's home.
