Pali Police Blotter: 2 DUIs and 2 Home Burglaries on Same Night

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

2 DUI arrests

  • A 20-year-old man was arrested at 2:25 a.m., March 14 at the intersection of El Medio Avenue and Sunset Boulevard. He was charged with driving under the influence after being involved in a traffic collision, according to Los Angeles police.
  • A 32-year-old man was arrested at 11:50 p.m., March 15 at the intersection of De Pauw Street and Swarthmore Avenue. He was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped for a traffic violation.

2 home burglaries on same night and location

  • Between 7 and 8:45 p.m., March 14 in the 1000 block of Iliff Street, the suspect forced open a window to enter a home and took a laptop, computers, jewelry and a camera.
  • At 9 p.m., March 14 in the 1100 block of Iliff Street, the suspect pried open a window to enter a home but fled without taking any property when the homeowner returned.

Between 9 p.m., March 13 and 7 a.m., March 14 in the 100 block of Entrada Drive, patio furniture was stolen off a property.
