Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Tires Slashed and Jewelry Stolen

In this week's crime report, a suspect slashed the tires on a vehicle and jewelry was taken from a Palisades home.

Here are the crimes reported in Pacific Palisades from Aug. 29-Sept. 4. This information is provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

1300 block of Brinkley Ave.

  • When: Sept. 1 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a garage door opener.

1000 block of Galloway St.

  • When: Sept. 4 between 1:25 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. 
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a purse, money, wallet and an iPod.

15900 block of Pacific Coast Hwy.

  • When: Sept. 4 between 10:40 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a cellphone.

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Sept. 2 between 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect slashed the tires on the victim’s vehicle.

Other Crimes

900 block of Haverford Ave.

  • When: Between Aug. 2 at 6:30 a.m. and Sept. 3 at 10 a.m. 
  • What happened: The suspect took jewelry from the victim’s home.

1100 block of Chautauqua Blvd.

  • When: Between Aug. 27 at 10 a.m. and Sept. 4 at 1:15 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took gardening tools from the victim’s yard.
