Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Suspects in Prius ID'd in Mailbox Smashing

The following information was supplied by the West L.A. Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Suspects ID'd in mailbox smashing

At 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 in the 1200 block of Chautauqua Boulevard, two suspects used a hammer to smash a copper mailbox at a residence. The Los Angeles Police Department describes the suspects as an Asian woman with black hair, approximately 40 years old, four feet and 10 inches tall and between 120 and 130 pounds, and a white man with gray hair, approximately 40 years old, six feet tall and approximately 190 pounds. They were driving a silver Toyota Prius.

  • Between 5:15 p.m. on Nov. 26 and 7:10 a.m. on Nov. 27 in the 1300 block of Jonesboro Drive, a suspect entered a home and televisions, faucets and cigars.
  • Between 11 p.m. on Nov. 26 and 12 p.m. on Nov. 27 in the 13200 block of Jonesboro Place, a suspect cut a screen door to enter an unlocked window on a home and took a power drill.

Theft from vehicles

  • Between 4 p..m on Nov. 27 and 10 a.m. on Nov. 28 in the 1100 block of El Medio Avenue, suspects entered an unlocked vehicle and took a purse, wallet, credit cards and an iPad.
  • Between 11 p.m. on Dec. 1 and 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 2 in the 15500 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect entered a vehicle and took an identification card.

Between 4 and 4:10 p.m. on Nov. 29 in the 800 block of Alma Real Drive, a suspect took a purse from the floor inside a gym.
