Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Suspects Attempt Removing Bank Deposit Box

The following information was supplied by the Western Division of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Attempted theft of bank night deposit box

report that between 6 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 10 a.m. on Aug. 23 unknown suspect(s) attempted to remove the night deposit box from the exterior wall of a bank in the 15000 block of Sunset Boulevard. The suspects were reportedly unsuccessful due to the box weighing several thousand pounds. The night box was left at the scene.

Stolen bike

Between 12 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 in the 15000 block of Albright Street unknown suspects entered a gated underground garage. The suspect cut the cable reportedly securing the victim's bicycle and fled with it.

Stolen property

Between 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 10 and 9 p.m. on Aug. 17 in the 17000 block of Avenida de la Herradura unknown suspects reportedly removed the victims' property while in the car of hired movers.
