Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Stolen Vehicle Recovered After Pursuit

In this week's crime roundup, police recover a stolen car after a short, early-morning pursuit.

The following crimes were reported between March 11 and March 17. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

800 block of Iliff St.

  • When: Between March 10 at 11:30 p.m. and March 11 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took a purse, wallet and money.

800 block of Hartzell St.

  • When: Between March 9 at 9 p.m. and March 10 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a computer and briefcase.

16000 block of Temecula St.

  • When: March 11 at 3 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took a flashlight, money and pepper spray.

16100 block of Alcima Ave.

  • When: Between March 9 at 7 p.m. and March 10 at 2 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a purse.

16100 block of Alcima Ave.

  • When: Between March 9 at 7 p.m. and March 10 at 2 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's vehicle and took a jacket, dress and tennis racket.

17300 block of Pacific Coast Hwy.

  • When: March 10 between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's vehicle and took computers, a GPS and a Kindle reader from the vehicle trunk.

Burglary

500 block of Muskingum Ave.

  • When: March 14 between 7-10 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the unlocked home and took the victim's laptop computer, television, cable box, gaming system, iPhone and jacket.

1300 block of Goucher St.

  • When: Between March 14 at 7 p.m. and March 15 at 1 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked home and took a computer and jewelry.

600 block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: March 17 at 9:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a door to enter the victim's home causing an alarm activation. The suspect ransacked the house but appeared to have left without taking any property.

Grand Theft Auto

600 block of Muskingum Ave.

  • When: March 11 at 3:50 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim's vehicle from the street. The vehicle was recovered after a short pursuit.

Petty Theft

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Between March 8 at 9 p.m. and March 10 at 2:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim's passport from his apartment.

1400 block of Allenford Ave.

  • When: March 9 at 1 p.m.
  • What happened: Two 11-year-old males were arrested for theft after taking cellphones from the backpacks of multiple students between Jan. 24-March 9.

1400 block of Allenford Ave.

  • When: March 8 at 10:50 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took a cellphone from the victim's school locker.

15700 block of Bowdoin St.

  • When: March 12 at 12:45 p.m.
  • What happened: A 16-year-old female and a 15-year-old female were arrested for theft after they attempted to sell a stolen cellphone.

Vandalism

800 block of Hartzell St.

  • When: Between March 9 at 4 p.m. and March 10 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle.
