Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Man Threatens to Shoot Person Parked in Street

In this week's crime roundup, a man threatens to shoot someone for parking in front of a home on a public street.

The following crimes were reported between April 1 and April 7. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

100-block of Mabery Rd.

  • When: Between April 4 at 9 p.m. and April 5 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's vehicle and took a backpack and school books.

200-block of West Channel Rd.

  • When: April 5 between 4:55 a.m. and 5:10 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect pried open a door on the victim's vehicle and took money.

16800-block of Livorno Dr.

  • When: Between April 3 at 10 a.m. and April 4 at 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took a license plate off of the victim's vehicle.

Burglary

500-block of Latimer Rd.

  • When: April 5 between 11:15 a.m. and 12:25 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect pried open a sliding glass door to enter the victim's home and took jewelry. The suspect fled the area in a silver BMW driven by a female. The female was described by police as a black woman with black hair and pink streaks.

14700-block of McKendree Ave.

  • When: Between March 28 at 7 a.m. and April 4 at 11 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home and took a laptop computer and jewelry.

Vandalism

700-block of Paseo Miramar

  • When: Between March 29 at 3 p.m. and April 2 at 5:10 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect(s) entered victim's property, cut down four trees and cut the tops off of several other trees.

Criminal Threat

800-block of Fiske St.

  • When: April 6 at 9:05 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect threatened to shoot the victim for parking in front of the suspect's home on a public street. The suspect was described by police as a 60-year-old white man with gray hair, 5'6" tall and weighed about 190 pounds.
