Man arrested after allegedly shooting handgun at a tree

A 27-year-old man was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 in the 16800 block of Calle De Sarah and charged with negligent discharge of a firearm after firing a handgun at a tree, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A 58-year-old woman was arrested at 4:20 p.m. on Nov. 23 in the 15200 block of Sunset Boulevard and charged with forgery after attempting to cash a forged check at a bank.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested at 12:35 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 600 block of Erskine Drive on a narcotics warrant.

Stolen vehicle recovered

Between Nov. 25 at 9 p.m. and Nov. 26 at 11 a.m. in the 15700 block of Sunset Boulevard, a vehicle was stolen from a parking garage. On Nov. 26 at 10 p.m. police report the vehicle was found at 16100 Sunset Boulevard.

Suspects ID'd in vehicle burglaries

  • At 12:25 p.m. on Nov. 18  in the 800 block of Las Lomas Avenue, suspects entered a possible unlocked vehicle and took money, a phone charger and a garage door opener. One suspect is described as a man with black hair, between 20 and 30 years old, 5'9'' and 150 pounds. The second suspect is described as a man with black hair, between 20 and 30 years old, 5'9'' and 150 pounds.
  • At 7:05 a.m. on Nov. 24 in the 1000 block of Via de la Paz, a suspect - described as a white man with blonde hair, green eyes, between 35 and 40 years old, 5'7'' and 150 pounds - entered an unlocked vehicle and took a wallet, money and credit cards. Police report the suspect fled when confronted by the victim.

Home burglary

Between 3 and 5 p.m. on Nov. 22 in the 300 block of Ocean Avenue, a suspect entered a home through an unlocked door and took a laptop computer, iPad, jewelry and money.

Stolen bike

Between Nov. 18 at 11 p.m. and Nov. 19 at 9:30 a.m. in the 17200 block of Sunset Boulevard, a suspect took a bicycle from a parking garage.

Stolen Christmas decorations

Between Nov. 25 at 10 p.m. and Nocv. 26 at 7 a.m. in the 1400 block of Allenford Avenue, a suspect took Christmas decorations from a front yard.

Slashed tires

Between 7:15 and 10:15 p.m. on Nov. 20 in the 300 block of Via de la Paz, a suspect slashed tires on a vehicle.
