Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Man Arrested for Aggravated Trespass, Money Stolen from Cars

Here are the crimes reported in Pacific Palisades from July 29-Aug. 6. This information is provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

15900 block of Alcima Ave.

• When: Between July 3 at 1 p.m. and Aug. 1 at 3:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect attempted to pry open a door at the victim’s home but was unable to enter.

30 block of Haldeman Rd.

• When: Between Aug. 2 at 3:30 p.m. and Aug. 3 at 6:30 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect cut a lock on a home under construction and took tools. 

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: Aug. 1 between 7:02 a.m. and 9:05 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse and money.

15600 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: Aug. 1 between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a wallet, purse and money.

900 block of Las Lomas Ave.

• When: Between July 2 at 8 p.m. and July 3 at 9 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a wallet and money.

1000 block of Napoli Dr.

• When: Between Aug. 2 at 4:30 p.m. and Aug. 3 at 6:45 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect cut the locks off of the victim’s work truck and took tools.

1000 block of Monument St.

• When: Aug. 4 between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a purse, glasses and money.

1100 block of Chautauqua Blvd.

• When: Between Aug. 5 at 6:50 p.m. and Aug. 6 at 11:30 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and took a laptop computer, iPod, duffel bag, briefcase and spare car key.

Vandalism

800 block of Haverford Ave.

• When: Between July 29 at 6 p.m. and July 30 at 12 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect scratched the paint on the victim’s vehicle.

Arrest/Citations

800 block of Las Lomas Ave.

• When: Aug. 3 at 1:50 p.m.
• What happened: A 69-year-old male was arrested for aggravated trespass after forcing his way into the victim’s home.

800 block of Swarthmore Ave.

• When: Aug. 6 at 3:15 p.m.
• What happened: A 26-year-old female was arrested for possession of narcotics paraphernalia after being detained on an attempted shoplifting charge.

Other Crimes

15400 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: Aug. 1 at 1:45 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect placed food items into her purse then exited the victim’s business without paying. The suspect was described as a 60-year-old woman with gray hair, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.

500 block of Chautauqua Blvd.

• When: Between July 5 at 2 p.m. and Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect took the victim’s jewelry.

16700 block of Edgar St.

• When: July 25 between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect took a wallet and money from the victim’s home.
