Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Local Business Robbed at Gunpoint

In this week's crime report, a local business was robbed at gunpoint and three burglary suspects forced their way into a home.

The following crimes were reported between Sept.10-18. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

400 block of Toyopa Dr.

  • When: Between Aug. 21 at 12 p.m. and Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked home and took televisions.

16700 block of Livorno Dr.

  • When: Sept. 12 between 8 a.m. and 2:10 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s home through an open window and took jewelry, cameras and a laptop computer. Two witnesses driving through the area saw the suspect leaving the victim’s home with a large bag.

400 block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: Between Sept. 13 at 4:30 p.m. and Sept. 14 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered a construction site and took computers and construction tools.

700 block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: Sept. 13 at 9:05 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspects forced open the front door of the victim’s home and took an unknown amount of property. The first suspect was described as a 25- to 30-year-old black male with black hair, brown eyes, 6 feet tall and weighed about 235 pounds. The second suspect was described as a 20- to 25-year-old black male with black hair, brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighed 185 pounds. The third suspect was described as a 30-year-old black male with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 185 pounds.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

100 block of Entrada Dr.

  • When: Between June 20 at 9 p.m. and Aug. 31 at 10:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took CDs, a GPS and a tool kit.

200 block of Mabery Rd.

  • When: Sept. 8 between 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took an iPod and money.

Temescal Canyon Road and Sunset Boulevard

  • When: Sept. 16 between 8:45 a.m. and 10:25 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse, wallet and money.

Sunset Boulevard and Temescal Canyon Road

  • When: Sept. 18 between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took a purse and make-up.

Robbery

15200 block of Antioch St.

  • When: Sept. 13 at 10:15 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s business, pointed a handgun at victim and demanded money. The suspect was described as a 30- to 35-year-old black male, with black hair, about 6 feet tall and weighing between 180-200 pounds.

Vandalism

700 block of Ocampo Dr.

  • When: Sept. 12 between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect damaged the sunroof of the victim’s vehicle.

Other Crimes

15400 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Sept. 12 between 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim’s purse, money, camera and cellphone from a desk at the victim’s workplace.
