Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Construction Site Thefts Continue

In this week's crime roundup, there are a number of reported thefts from construction sites, as well as tools stolen from motor vehicles.

The following crimes were reported between April 8 and April 14. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

900-block of Greentree Rd.

  • When: April 9 between 10-10:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took chainsaws from the victim's vehicle.

600-block of El Medio Ave.

  • When: Between April 13 at 8 p.m. and April 14 at 10 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took an iPhone and iPhone charger from the victim's vehicle.

Burglary

15800-block of Seabec Cir.

  • When: April 12 between 4:30-10 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home through an unlocked door and took laptop computers and an iPad.

Grand Theft

600-block of Chautauqua Blvd.

  • When: Between April 13 at 5:30 p.m. and April 14 at 7:15 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered a construction site and took the victim's tools.

600-block of Chautauqua Blvd.

  • When: Between April 12 at 5 p.m. and April 13 at 6:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered a construction site and took the victim's tools.

700-block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: April 12 between 7-8:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's backyard and removed pool pumps.

Vandalism

16700-block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Between April 13 at 5 p.m. and April 14 at 2 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle.

Trespassing

200-block of Bellino Dr.

  • When: April 12 at 9 a.m.
  • What happened: Two suspects entered the victim's backyard, without permission, possibly looking for recycling materials. One suspect was described by police as a 29-year-old Hispanic man with black hair, brown eyes, was 5'8" tall and weighed about 140 pounds. The other suspect was described by police as a 28-year-old Hispanic female with black hair, brown eyes, was 5'3" tall and weighed about 140 pounds.
