Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Burglars Smash Car Windows

In this week's crime roundup, there are two reports of burglars smashing car windows to steal items left inside the vehicles.

The following crimes were reported between March 18 and March 24. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

16700-block of Edgar St.

  • When: Between March 20 at 6:45 p.m. and March 21 at 9 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a computer.

900-block of Temescal Canyon Rd.

  • When: March 21 between 3:20 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a wallet, money and a makeup bag.

Petty Theft

17100-block of Avenida De Santa Ynez

  • When: Between March 20 at 11 p.m. and March 21 at 6:45 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim's bicycle from the front yard.
