Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Burglaries and Thefts from Cars

A string of car burglaries on Sept. 8 are among the different crimes reported in this week's crime report.

The following crimes were reported between September 2 and 10. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

16800 Glynn Dr.

  • When: Sept. 6 between noon and 7 p.m.
  • What happened:  The suspect entered the victim’s home through an unlocked window and took jewelry.

16700 Bollinger Dr.

  • When: Between 2:30 p.m. on Sept. and 2 p.m. Sept. 8.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s home while it was being fumigated and took jewelry, money, an iPod, and a pillow case. 

Burglary/Theft from vehicle

700 Almar Ave.

  • When: Between 6 p.m. on Sept. 1 and 7 a.m., Sept. 2
  • What happened: The suspect took the rear license plate from victim’s vehicle.

Temescal Canyon Road at Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Sept. 8 between 4:45 and 5:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse and money.

Pacific Coast Hwy. at Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Sept. 8 between 2:30 and 3:15 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered victim’s vehicle and took money, a purse, and a wallet.

1000 Chautauqua Blvd.

  • When: Sept. 8 between 12:30 and 2 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a purse and vitamins.

Pacific Coast Hwy at Bay Club Dr.

  • When: Sept. 8 between 3 and 3:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and searched the glove box.

Vandalism

600 Latimer Rd.

  • When: Between 5 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 5:30 a.m. on Sept. 6.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed windows and forced open doors on the recreation center.

1000 Monument St.

  • When: Between 11 a.m. on Aug. 30 and noon, Sept. 5.
  • What happened: The suspect scratched the paint on victim’s vehicle.

Temescal Canyon Rd. at Pacific Coast Hwy.

  • When: Between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 8.
  • What happened: The suspects (Male white, shaved head, 5’11” 190 lbs, late 20s, tattoo on back. Female white, brown hair, 250 lbs, 20 years) smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and fled the area in a Black Chevy when approached by a witness.
