Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Bikes Stolen, Car Window Smashed

In this week's crime report, bicycles are stolen and a suspect smashes a car window to grab money, jewelry and more.

The following crimes were reported between Dec. 4-Dec. 11. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Between Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. and Nov. 28 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s home and took a cellphone and iPod.

1200 block of Las Lomas Ave.

  • When: Between Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. and Dec. 11 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window to enter the victim’s garage and took bicycles, a bike helmet and clothing.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

800 block of Chattanooga Ave.

  • When: Dec. 4 between 3:30-5:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim’s vehicle and took money, jewelry, a wallet, purse and sunglasses.

1100 block of Orlon Ave.

  • When: Dec. 10 at 11:30 a.m. and Dec. 11 at 10:30 a.m..
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a purse and money.
