Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: 3 Petty Theft Arrests, Burglarized Home and Vehicles

Three arrests for petty theft in the same area

  • On Sept. 6 at 11:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Swarthmore Avenue, a 52-year-old woman was arrested for taking property from a business and leaving without paying, according to .
  • On Sept. 7 at 2:10 p.m. in the 800 block of Swarthmore Avenue, a 55-year-old woman was arrested for taking property from a business and leaving without paying.
  • On Sept. 8 at 4:45 p.m. in the 800 block of Swarthmore Avenue, a 40-year-old woman was arrested for taking property from a business and leaving without paying.

Suspect enters through open window

On Sept. 8 at 2:30 a.m. in the 400 block of Sycamore Road, a suspect entered a home through an open window while the resident was sleeping and reportedly
took a laptop computer, iPad, wallet, money and alcoholic beverages.

2 unlocked vehicles burglarized

  • Between Sept. 5 at 7:20 p.m. and Sept. 6 at 7:30 a.m. in the 15000 block of Corona Del Mar, a suspect entered an unlocked vehicle and took a wallet, money and money clip.
  • Between Sept. 5 at 10:15 p.m. and Sept. 6 at 7:30 a.m. in the 17300 block of Tramonto Drive, a suspect entered victim's unlocked vehicle and took a laptop computer, iPod, camera and money.
