Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Coin Collection Stolen, Car Break-Ins Continue

In this week's crime roundup, a coin collection is stolen from a Palisades home and car break-ins continue in the area.

The following crimes were reported between March 25 and March 31. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary/Theft From Motor Vehicle

600 block of Las Lomas Ave.

  • When: Between March 29 at 7:30 p.m. and March 30 at 7:40 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took money, a wallet and a purse.

16000 block of Sunset Blvd.

  • When: Between March 29 at 9 p.m. and March 30 at 7 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a laptop computer and laptop case.

300 block of Chautauqua Blvd.

  • When: Between March 29 at 7 p.m. and March 30 at 9:45 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took clothing.

300 block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: March 29 between 7:50 a.m. and 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect smashed a window on the victim's vehicle and took a purse, phone, wallet and money.

300 block of Amalfi Dr.

  • When: Between March 30 at 9:30 p.m. and March 31 at 8 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's unlocked vehicle and took money.

Burglary

600 block of Las Casas Ave.

  • When: Between March 24 at 5:30 p.m. and March 25 at 10:30 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's home and took jewelry.

Grand Theft

600 block of Alma Real Dr.

  • When: March 30 between 7 a.m. and 7:45 a.m.
  • What happened: The suspect entered the victim's open garage and took a power washer and tools.

1200 block of Las Lomas Ave.

  • When: Between March 21 at 11 p.m. and March 22 at 9 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim's coin collection from his home.

Petty Theft

1400 block of Allenford Ave.

  • When: March 23 at 2:30 p.m.
  • What happened: The suspect took the victim's phone from an unattended backpack.
