Pacific Palisades Police Blotter: Man Flees Store After Taking Wine

The following crimes were reported between Oct. 15-Oct. 23. The information was provided by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Burglary

1200 block of Lachman Ln.

• When: Oct. 17 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s home through a window and took computers and a camera.

15200 block of Via De Las Olas

• When: Oct. 17 at 10 p.m.
• What happened: The suspects entered the victim’s home through a possibly unlocked door but fled when the victim yelled out to them.

15200 block of Via De Las Olas

• When: Between Oct. 17 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 18 at 7 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect pried open a door to enter the victim’s guest home, searched the location, but did not take any property.

600 block of Jacon Way

• When: Between Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. and Oct. 20 at 9 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s garage through an unlocked door and took bicycles.

Burglary/Theft From Vehicle

800 block of Greentree Rd.

• When: Between Oct. 14 at 9:30 p.m. and Oct. 15 at 5:30 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a suitcase and tools.

700 block of Chapala Dr.

• When: Between Oct. 18 at 9 p.m. and Oct. 19 at 7 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a laptop computer and a camera.

1400 block of Lachman Ln.

• When: Between Oct. 19 at 6 p.m. and Oct. 20 at 6:45 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s garage and searched through the victim’s vehicle. No property was stolen.

Vandalism

17300 block of Pacific Coast Hwy.

• When: Between Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. and Oct. 20 at 9 a.m.
• What happened: The suspect damaged a lifeguard tower and a paddle board.

600 block of Entrada Dr.

• When: Between Oct. 22 at 7:30 p.m. and Oct. 23 at 2:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect cut the victim’s hedge.

Other Crimes

17300 block of Sunset Blvd.

• When: Oct. 16 at 2:05 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect entered the victim’s business, took bottles of wine and fled the area in a vehicle. The suspect was described by police as a 50- to 60-year-old white man with black hair, a full white beard and glasses.

1600 block of Michael Ln.

• When: Oct. 5 between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect took jewelry from the victim’s closet.

900 block of Hartzell St.

• When: Oct. 23 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
• What happened: The suspect took the victim’s jewelry from the victim's bedroom.
