Pacific Coast Highway Lanes Open at Coastline Ridge Following Crash

A female bicyclist was in serious condition, but is expected to survive.

A bicyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in an unincorporated area just west of Pacific Palisades, authorities said.

The crash, reported at 4:50 a.m., closed PCH in both directions west of Coastline Drive, according to the California Highway Patrol.

All lanes were reopened about two hours later. One person was taken from the scene to a hospital, said Los Angeles County Fire Department dispatcher Robert Diaz.

The injured party was a female bicyclist who was in critical condition, according to the CHP.
