Monday Morning Shot: Shark!
A beautiful photograph of Pacific Palisades can often be more invigorating than your cup of coffee.
What's better than a double-shot of espresso? A reminder first thing on Monday morning that home is a beautiful place.
Firefighter Craig Thompson from in Pacific Palisades sent in this photo of a nine-foot shark. The photo, was taken off Lifeguard Tower 4, near Sunset Point. Firefighter Bob Ledesma, of station 23's red shift, took the photo around late September from LAFD helicopter #4.
Thompson says surfers frequent the area where Ledesma took the photo. Hopefully the shark was just out to soak up some sun and enjoy the water!
