Man Dies Following Motorcycle Accident in Pacific Palisades

The following report was supplied by the Los Angeles Police Department.

A Glendale man died Tuesday evening from his injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on Sunset Boulevard and Amalfi Drive.

Fire department and paramedics responded to a report of a fatal traffic collision at the intersection at approximately 6:15 p.m., according to the West Traffic Division. Narek Sadoyan, 21, of Glendale, was driving a 2006 Honda motorcycle eastbound on Sunset when he reportedly collided with the curb, ran off the road, collided with a bus sign and then hit a light post. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.

Sadoyan was transported to , where he reportedly succumbed to his injuries shortly after arrival.

An initial investigation by the LAPD does not incidate whether alcohol was involved in the crash. A follow-up investigation is being conducted.
