Lost Teenage Hikers Rescued by LAFD Helicopter

Two 17-year-old boys were hoisted to safety Friday by a Los Angeles Fire Department helicopter after becoming lost while hiking in Will Rogers State Historic Park near Sunset Boulevard in Pacific Palisades, officials said.

The boys were found near the 14200 block of West Evans Road, LAFD spokeswoman Katherine Main said. Both boys, who appeared to be uninjured, were evaluated by paramedics and did not require transport to hospital, she said.
