Lost Hikers Found Uninjured in Will Rogers State Park

Helicopter assists locating hikers to safety in Pacific Palisades.

Two hikers were located to safety in Will Rogers State Park Friday night by the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to LAFD spokesman Shawn Lenske, Los Angeles police notified fire officials of two lost hikers in the park at 5:44 p.m. and a helicopter was deployed to assist in the search.

At 6:15 p.m., Lenske said they found two hikers, uninjured and located them safely back to the park. The hikers were not identified.
