License Plate Bandit Strikes on Marquez, Las Pulgas

Thief targets rear license plates. In other incident, a messenger bag is snatched in a smash 'n' grab.

BTFV (Burglary/Theft From Vehicle)
●       15500 Sunset Blvd., between Feb. 2 at 5 p.m. and Feb. 8 at 1 p.m. The
suspect entered victim’s unlocked vehicle and took a computer, sweat
shirt, and cap. 
●       Temescal Canyon at Pacific Coast Hwy, Feb. 12 between 1:15  and 4:45
p.m. The suspect smashed a window on victim’s vehicle and took a purse,
wallet, jewelry, and sunglasses. 
●       16800 Sunset Blvd., Feb. 12 between 12:50 and 9 p.m. The suspect
broke a window on victim’s vehicle and took money and a messenger bag.

●       1100 Las Pulgas, between Feb. 6 at 3 p.m. and Feb. 9 at 4:30 p.m. The
suspect removed the rear license plate from victim’s vehicle.
●       Marquez and Sunset, Jan. 29 between 2 and 9:55 p.m. The suspect took
the rear license plate from victim’s vehicle. 

ROBBERY
●       15400 Sunset, Feb. 9 at 3:45 p.m. The suspect (male black,
5’6” 120 lbs, 15/16 years) entered victim’s business and
posed as a customer. The suspect took several pairs of glasses and
attempted to flee the business without paying. When an employee
attempted to block the suspect from exiting the business the suspect
shoved her against the door.

OTHER CRIMES
●       1400 Allenford, Feb. 8 between 11:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. The suspect
removed property from victim’s backpack. 
●       400 Arbarmar, between Feb. 1 at 12 p.m. and Feb. 2 at 12 p.m. The
suspect forged victim’s signature to remove money from victim’s bank
account.
