Gates Security is reporting a power outage in Pacific Palisades.

The outage, noted in front of Noah's Bagels, was caused by high voltage wires that came down the power line in the 15300 block of Antioch.

Los Angeles Department of Water and Power expects power to be restored in four to five hours.

Patch will have more information when it becomes available.

Was sitting at Starbucks when the power line went down. Appeared that a palm frond fell on the line causing the outage and the wires to sway. About 30 seconds later one of the swaying lines snapped causing a second loud noise. A guy in a grey suit and a couple of older teenagers did an excellent job redirecting traffic so no cars or pedestrians walked into the downed lines.
