Coyote Spotted on Tellem Drive

Marquez Knolls resident reports the sighting of a rather comfortable coyote in Pacific Palisades.

A resident on Tellem Drive in upper Marquez Knolls in Pacific Palisades reported seeing a coyote Tuesday morning and, as the weather continues to warm, wants to alert nearby residents for the safety of their pets.
The message reads as follows:

At 10 of 6 this morning a coyote strolled by my sliding glass door as if he was looking for something.  I screamed at him and he turned around and scooted for the garden.  It is enclosed by a three-foot wall that borders on a  lot of bougainvillea and oleanders in an unlandscaped extension of my neighbor's property on the private road just west of my place at Tellem Drive. All this description to illustrate the impunity of this animal.

I saw one on sunset at almafi let's hope the cops in Santa Monica don't start shooting them! Still fuming over their treatment of that gorgeous mountain lion last year. Everyone needs to learn to live with wildlife if we want to live in the Santa Monica mountain range - Surf Poppy
