The responded to a report of an injured bicyclist Saturday afternoon in the area of 1600 North Amalfi Drive at approximately 4:27 p.m., according to spokesman Erik Scott.
The cyclist, a 51-year-old man, is reportedly being transported to the hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Scott said a helicopter assisted in the response, while firefighters and paramedics located the man on the ground, and an air hoist was not needed. Scott noted the incident happened approximately one mile north of Sullivan Fire Road.
