Attic Fire Extinguished on Marquez Avenue

Ten firefighters knock down Pacific Palisades attic fire.

No one was injured during an attic fire contained to a Pacific Palisades home Wednesday at 16808 Marquez Ave. It was first reported at 12:31 p.m.

According Los Angeles Fire Department spokesperson Katherine Main, ten firefighters who arrived first on scene were able to knock down the fire in 15 minutes and it was confined to the attic.

The cause is being investigated and no damage estimate was immediately available.
