Update: Police Catch Suspected Burglars in Palisades Neighborhood

The Los Angeles Police Department arrest two men in the burglary of a Marquez Knolls home on Wednesday afternoon.

Two men suspected of a burglary in a Marquez Knolls home were arrested Wednesday afternoon on Sunset Boulevard, according to the .

Officer Karen Rayner said police responded to the 900 block of Enchanted Way at about 2:20 p.m. A helicopter circled the neighborhood and residents of the Marquez Knolls Property Owners Association were told by LAPD to stay in their homes and lock their doors and windows.

According to police, a witness saw two men leaving the Enchanted Way residence and alerted officers. A helicopter reportedly spotted a white Range Rover leaving the neighborhood. Police on the ground pulled it over near the at the intersection of Sunset Boulevard and El Medio Avenue around 3 p.m.

Five police cruisers and more than six officers stood with the suspects on the front property of 15912 Sunset Blvd. Police spoke to an older man sitting on the grass wearing a red hat and flip flops and a younger man in plaid shorts. Both were in handcuffs while officers searched the Range Rover.

One cruiser took both suspects away at approximately 4:15 p.m. while other officers stayed on scene with the Range Rover. According to one officer, police recovered some household items.
