Jackpot Grows to $540M: What Would You Do With It?

No one drew all six numbers in Tuesday's Mega Millions lottery, meaning Friday's will be the largest in the history of the game.

If you bought a Mega Millions lottery ticket for Tuesday's drawing, the bad news is no one hit all six numbers. But the good news is the jackpot is even bigger for Friday's drawing. An earlier report from City News Service reported the jackpot was estimated at $476 million, but by Thursday afternoon the Los Angeles Times reported it was closer to $540 million.

Some folks went home with some cool cash after Tuesday's drawing. There were 47 tickets that matched five numbers, including nine in California; each is worth $308,573. (None were sold in Pali, however.)

The other good news is that you still have a chance to win! Here's a list of a few places locally where you can buy a Mega Millions ticket for Friday's drawing.
