Foods to Bring You Luck on New Year's Day

"Good Housekeeping" has a list of foods that some say could bring you luck on New Year's Day.

Lots of us have traditions when it comes to ringing in a New Year. Maybe it's sleeping in our favorite pajamas, roasting our best coffee, or starting the day off with a long run. However, for many cultures across the U.S. and throughout the world, what you eat can actually bring you good luck.

Good Housekeeping made a list of six dishes that some cultures have deemed "good luck foods" for New Year's Day. The list includes a simple noodle dish to more exotic choices, like pomegranate.
