This day to me is about love. Love shows up in infinite forms, not just couplehood. The problem with our culture is we put such a premium on romantic love, and so we discount other forms of love. But love is love. Love is feeling your heart open. Love is friendship. Love is the flowers waving at you in the breeze.
Romantic relationships come and go. This year you may have someone to send a valentine to, but next year that person could be gone from your life. It's all so fleeting, but love in its infinite forms is always with you.

There has been one sweet heart in my life that is ever-present. She has been with me since I was an embryo, and she will see me until the end. This sweet heart of mine is the one I carry in my chest. She pumps her lovingkindness into the world. Her radiance sparkles and grows more vibrant with each passing day.
