Friday also marks an earth-friendly holiday, Arbor Day. Although it is marked with a little less fanfare, Palisadian author and yoga practitioner Teresa Power offers up a few ways to celebrate as a family.

According to Power's article on Examiner.com, it is important for children to understand the significance of Arbor Day and the role trees play in sustaining our environment.
