Pali High Football Team Keeps on Winning

Dophins Football team comes back from being down 24-7 at the half to beat the Westchester Comets at Westchester. The Dolphins relied on a much deeper bench to wear down Westchester. Go Dolphins!!!

The Dolphins continue to find ways to win. Down 24-7 to the Westchester Comets at Westchester at the half, the Dolphins dug deep, tightened their defense, and allowed the offense to go to work behind the hardwork of their tandem quarterbacks, Kevin Accosta and Taylor Mensik, and their inspired running backs, Austin Applegate, Justin Sinclair, and Chris Wilkins, and won 35-24.

This team is a team that has very few starters from last year, but has a lot of heart.  Whether it is Vista Murietta or Sun Valley Poly, this team believes that it always has a chance to win. People can argue about the team's offensive scheme, but there is no argument that Coach Perry Jones has put together a team that has heart and believes in each other.

This week the Dolphins face their biggest conference challenge when they play Venice, which is a habitual playoff team. Win, lose, or draw, the Dolphins are bringing Friday Night Lights to the Palisades. The last home game before playoffs is Friday Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. against University High School. You better show up early to get your seats; otherwise, you may find yourself standing. And come hungry, because the concessions offer the traditional faire plus Costco pizza and Diddy Riese cookies at very reasonable prices (especially for the Palisades).

Go Dolphins!!!

Not sure. There's not always an immediate answer to helicopters circling. Did anyone else hear orRead More see this? How long did it last? Was it just 1 copter or many police units?
