Street Closures and Guide for Palisades Road Race, Fourth of July
Check out the routes, road closures and additional resources to guide you through the Pacific Palisades Fourth of July events.
The big Fourth of July events in Pacific Palisades start early, and so do the street closures. Here's a breakdown so you can avoid any Independence Day headaches:
Palisades Will Rogers 5k/10k
Closures run from 7 to shortly after 9 a.m. at Sunset Boulevard from Amalfi Drive to Monument Avenue in both directions. The 10k course shuts down Chautauqua Avenue at the Pacific Coast Highway to the last street before Sunset Boulevard. Fourth of July Parade
Sunset Boulevard through the Village is shut down starting at 1:15 p.m. and are not reopened until 4:30 p.m., affecting other street portions of Via de la Paz, Swarthmore, Drummond, Toyopa, La Cruz and Alma Real.
