Palisades Beautiful board meeting - welcomes tree lovers

Palisades Beautiful, a nonprofit organization founded in 1974, focuses on community beautification projects, including the planting of residential parkway trees, free to homeowners, and the revival of the Native Plant Garden in Temescal Canyon Park (which it initiated in 1988). Its board of directors wants to expand its membership and to form action-taking committees, such as a Tree Task Force that will address serious problems with trees in public places in the Palisades community and work with the City of LA in finding solutions.
