10 reasons to belong to PPWC

1.  Fun:  PPWC is fun.  Every member contributes to make meetings fun.  Our club projects are fun.  The service is fun!!

2.  Friendship:  In an increasingly impersonal world, The Pacific Palisades Woman's Club provides one of the basic human needs - the need for friendship and fellowship.  It is one of many reasons why our club began in 1925.

3.  Philanthropy:  This is one of the best reasons to become a member - the chance to do something for somebody else and to feel the self-fulfillment that comes in the process and return of that satisfaction to one's own life.

4.  Culture:  PPWC sponsors a broad range of special events.  This has included:  Lou Paget’s “Let’s Talk About Love”, “The World of Pearls”, Ceora Winds Clarinet Trio as well as outings to local museums and attractions.

8.  Continuing Education:   Each month, there are programs designed to keep one informed about what is going on in the community.  Each meeting provides an opportunity to be both entertained and informed on a variety of timely topics.

9.  Leadership Development:  PPWC is an organization of leaders and empowered women.  Volunteer to serve as an officer, committee chairperson, or member of a committee to build leadership skills and to learn how to motivate, influence, and lead leaders.

10. Business Development:  In today's world, everyone needs to network.  PPWC consists of a cross section of women from the community.  Our members range in age from 26 to 99, are single, married, dating (or not!), stay-at-home, self-employed, corporate, retired, in other words, they come from all walks of life.
