Volunteer to Help Underserved Youth Enjoy a Day at The Beach

This Sunday, September 8, 9:00 AM to 1:30 pm, very south east end of Will Rogers State Beach parking lot (closest cross street is Pacific Coast Highway and Chautauqua) in front of volleyball nets, between lifeguard towers 15 and 16, volunteer to help at risk under-served youth and their mentors learn to surf, no prior experience needed. Free lunch and bagel breakfast included. We provide youth with boards and wetsuits, you just need to bring your wetsuit, beach chair and your surf stoke to help out!

Directions-If parking in the Will Rogers State Beach lot (parking for our program at Will Rogers Beach is at the reduced rate of $5.00 or park for free and walk in at Temescal Canyon or off Chautauqua). Pull into parking lot and tell attendant you are at the beach for Boarding House Mentors, then drive Southeast in the lot parallel to PCH all the way past the main life guard station to the end of the lot where you will see our check in table. 

After check in, proceed down to the beach to our beach kiosk before the youth arrive.scott2013-09-01 08:47:28
