Rebecca Grossman is Malibu Bel Air RFW Featured Speaker March 20th
The featured speaker for the Malibu/Bel Air Federated Republican Women March meeting is Rebecca Grossman, chair of the Grossman Burn Foundation. She will speak at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Thursday March 20th at noon. The meeting starts at 11:30 and Lunch is included with the $30 admission. Rebecca has worked extensively in the healthcare field for over a decade as a researcher, journalist, and marketing executive. She will discuss how she transitioned from being the legal guardian, with her husband, of a young Afghani girl burned in a home accident to founding the Grossman Burn Center Foundation.

A short 17 minute film "Stop Violence Against Women Globally Campaign" will be shown and followed with Rebecca detailing her passion and current international work.
While most of the focus of the Patient Protection/Affordable Care Act has been on enrollment, premium rates, and uncertainty of hospital and physician coverage many of the specialized hospitals such as the Grossman Burn Center are dedicated to provide vital and uncompromising services in the United States and using tele-medicine to expand Internationally. A time will be made available for Rebecca to answer questions posed by the audience, including the effect PP/ACA and two pending initiatives in California may have on smaller-injury-specific hospitals.

The Grossman Burn Center Foundation was established in 2006 to support the families and patients while they are going through the dramatic and lengthy skilled treatment for their life threatening burns, and also the accompanying emotional trauma as part of these horrific accidents.
The Malibu/Bel Air Federated Republican Women express their condolences to the Grossman Family for their loss of the very talented and compassionate Dr. A. Richard Grossman, founder of the Grossman Burn Centers.
